AWR1642BOOST: Raw data capture

I am about to purchase a DCA1000 EVM for raw data capture form the AWR1642 Boost. I would like to be able to record and determine the received signal strength in dbm/mW. Can this be done and if so which of the Ti documents explains this this? I am a first time user.

Hello Lincoln,

The DCA1000 will allow you to capture the raw ADC data via LVDS. To see how to do this, you can refer to the DCA1000 training video:

You will capture the data using mmWave Studio, which has a basic built in post processing utility. With this utility, you can get the received signal strength in dBFS. You can then convert the dBFS value to dBm using the below document:
