My customers use DRV5032 to detect the on-off state of incubators, they are quite satisfied with lower power consumption.
The customers think when magnetic component is right above DRV5032, it may have the best detective effect. So that's the way they are designing product.
However, using SOT-23 package requires another daughterboard which should be inserted to the motherboard. They prefer TO-92 package.
However, when I browsing ti.com, there are no low power hall-effect switches (nano amperes) with TO-92 package. And I also search hall-effect switches designed by other company, it seems no product can achieve lower power with TO-92 package.
So, my question is why there are no lower power hall-effect switches with TO-92 package, what is the restriction?
And, will there be any new products to be released that can satisfy this requirement?
