Hi
I obtained Range profile data from COM port.
Loading it, data value was about 20000~40000 and I don't know its meaning.
How can I calculate relative power scaled in dB like below picture from saved data?

Nobu

Hi Raghu,
since you are already referring to this post, could you please take your time to give an answer to question raised in there?
[What is] the physical value of "Relative Power" [...] ? [...] could you tell me how to calculate with the Demovisualizer or measure the received power of the radar?
Hi,
The MMWAVE-DEMO-VISUALIZER code is available online. If you open the visualizer in Chrome browser then go to settings->More Tools-> Developer Tools. Then check the source file mmWave.js for all the calculations.
Thanks,
Raghu
Hi Raghu,
yes, this is possible. But if you go back step by step like this, you end up with the values the sensor measures and again have no reference value as all the numbers are relative. But in relation to what? We are missing certain dimensions and reference levels.
