I am using FDC2214 for human hand proximity detection and I am using a custom made board with FDC2214 in it.
When a human hand approaches to the sensor, the capacitance read from FDC2214 increases.
However, when the capacitance reaches a certain value, it suddenly drops to a lower value, then starts increasing again.
The same thing happens when the hand gets far away from the sensor. The data decreases but when it reaches a certain value, it suddenly jumps to a higher value.
It is as if there is an upper and lower limit of the capacitance that FDC2214 can read.

This makes it impossible to use FDC2214 for proximity sensing...
Is there any way to solve this problem? Maybe this is because of the initialization of settings of FDC2214.
Which setting should I change to avoid this problem??
