IWR1642: Question for IWR1642

Hi Team,

There is IWR 1642 driver's vital signs test, which included heartbeat and breathing. Customer is doing medical electronics. I saw two chips on the TI website. There are IWR 1642 and IWR 1443, as well as the AWR series. Customers would like to know which chips and development boards are suitable for them to start developing?

Hi Annie,

Either of those are going to be suitable, the Vital Signs Demo uses only 1 Tx and 1 Rx antenna so there should be no difference there. The 1642 (and 6843) use the on-chip DSP for processing so there should be a higher degree of accuracy with that device.
