AWR1642: can

Hi,

I am using AWR1642. While CAN protocol implementation, I want to send remote frame to get data when i want.  

I set    txBuffElem.rtr =1; in canfd.c file.  on receiving side, i copied receiving rtr bit into variable and printed  .

It is printed as 0.    what should i change to send remote frame . please guide me.

in awr1642, I could not find how to send remote frame in program. i went through awr1642 technical reference manual. but i could not understand in code.

Please guide me  the steps in code to send remote frame.
