LDC1614: strange behaviour in temperature

Part Number: LDC1614

Hello,

we are trying to check how our custom system with a LDC1614 works in temperature, but something strange happens.

As shown in the picture below, the frequency of the yellow signal completely inverts its trend while warming up. The other three have a small kink in the trend and then they go back to the original path.

What could be the reason for this behaviour?

We eventually found out that a slower increase of the temperature helps, but since the samples are taken every 1 second, it doesn't look so fast to cause problems. We are also working around room temperature, not extreme values.

We have C0G capacitors, very short traces between coils and LDC, an aluminum case around the board grounded to the pcb GND an the temperature sensor is placed on the PCB.

Thank you,

Francesco
