LDC0851: Developing Impeller flow meter

Hi TI, I am trying to develop the impeller based flow meter using LDC0851 device. need to design the proper PCB coil for my application.

Note: 1. To read dial pointer we are using LDC0851 device.

2. we need proper higher inductance to detect the dial pointer.

3. Please go through the Attach Image for reference.

Hello,

The size of your PCB coil depends on the distance between the metal target and the coil. The target distance should be at most 40% of the coil's outer diameter. You may find the LDC0851 Quick Start Guide or this Event Counting TI Design helpful. Please note that the Webench tool is offline due to technology incompatibilities, but the LDC Tools Excel Calculator is a good alternative.
