IWR6843: Career sense feature supported ?

Hello,

Does IWR6843 support career sense feature ? I mean by "Career sense" that we would need to check if the same frequency radio wave is existing or not in the field before firing radio waveform. From my understanding, TI IWR platform does not support career sense. In this case, do you have a plan to support this feature in the future product ?

Hi Naoki,

Unfortunately mmWave Sensors do not support this at this time although I cannot comment on plans to support this in the future.

I have an update on this query.

Please see the Interference Mitigation App note in section 3.3.

There is also a training video on interference mitigation.

Thanks for your reply. Understood. I believe the career sense feature would be a key in 60Ghz mmwave in Japan.
