AWR1843BOOST: LVDS Data rate configuration

Hi,

I am currently testing some settings with the AWR1843BOOST board and the corresponding demo project
Unfortunatly I am not able to change the data rate of the LVDS interface. On page 34 of the AWR1843_Datasheet there are several different data rates listed but I cant find the register to set them.
I also searched in the demo project for a option to set the data rate without success.

Hi Max,

mmw demo takes care of controlling the DDR or SDR type of clock for LVDS interface.

That is being done in Mmw_lvds_stream.c

initCfg.interface = CBUFF_Interface_LVDS;
initCfg.u.lvdsCfg.crcEnable = 0U;
initCfg.u.lvdsCfg.msbFirst = 1U;
initCfg.u.lvdsCfg.ddrClockMode = 1U;
initCfg.u.lvdsCfg.ddrClockModeMux= 1U;

/* Setup the lanes: This configuration is platform specific */
initCfg.u.lvdsCfg.lvdsLaneEnable = 0x3U;
/* Initialize the CBUFF Driver: */

cbuffHandle = CBUFF_init (&initCfg, &errCode);

Hi Jitendra,

I already found this piece of code in the mmw demo but I still dont know where the LVDS data rate can be changed.

For example if I want to set it to "450 Mbps (225 MHz DDR Clock)".

How can I change this?

You can locate the code mentioned by Kaushal in the demo if you search for the function "MmwDemo_mssSetHsiClk" where you can do the necessary change so it will happen at the proper time during the demo execution, assuming you are using the demo.
