IWR6843: Can I use multi frequency for MIMO?

I notice that from the IWR6843 tech book, there is a saying "While the IWR6843 has three transmitters, only two of them are utilized in a TDM (time-division multiplexing)-MIMO(Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) fashion during a frame."

This is great! But I STILL wonder how the IWR 6843 MIMO work. Can it work in different frequencies? For example, with MIMO, I suppose that there are two channels, but can those two channels work in different frequency at the same time? One in 60 GHz and the other one work in 64 GHz?

Hi Jingxiao,

For 4 Receivers and 3 Transmitters, this actually produces 12 different channels for detection. The way it is able to distinguish between different channels using the same transmitter is through phase information.
