How can we evaluate people counting using the ODS antenna (my understanding is Lab0015 is not compatible)

-          We want to keep the count once people stop moving

-          We are considering wall and ceiling mounting, what are some differences in performance we should consider?

    Hi,

    Please use lab0020 - Overhead People Counting. (In Industrial Toolbox 4 we no longer have lab numbers, this can be found at peoplecounting/overhead People Counting).

    This lab is less mature than the ISK lab, so the performance is not as good. Generally we can track 3 to 4 people with this.

    In ceiling mount, you do not see the doppler of the person very well, as most of the movement is perpendicular to the devices FOV. The lab is motion based, so this leads to difficulty in detecting small movements like breathing. The device FOV is +-65 degrees - the range on the floor at which you can detect a person will be limited by the mounting height and FOV.
