Compiler/AWR1443: project for driver

Hi,

I am using mmwave sdk01_01_00_02 for awr1443 .

please guide me the steps to create a project that should contain UART and CAN of awr1443.

I tried to merge two drivers and changed make file. It is giving errors.

Created new project, then it is unable to open include file. I changed the path. It is giving SOC_moduled is undefined. and so on.

In capture demo of srr, if I try to add CAN driver , It is giving errors.

please guide me steps to create project that should contain UART and CAN driver.

Hi KS,

Please refer this TI-Rex application which uses UART and CANFD.

Same you can replicate for AWR1443 to UART and CAN. ANd I would recommend using at least SDK 2.1 version which we support.

To include any of peripheral you need to do the following

1. include peripheral library file in the project and search path to the same driver/library.

CCS project: properties->Build->ARM linker->File search path

Makefile: refer UART and CAN test (driver\uart\test\xwr14xx) application *.mak file

2. Include the SOC library and search path to the project.

Hi,

Thank you, I changed make file of uart driver and mixed the code and library of CAN driver in UART driver and compiled.

It gives the following error. please guide me to resolve this issue.

KS,

You should not try to mix code between SDK v1.1 and SDK v2.1. You should move entirely to SDK v2.1 at the minimum. The current SDK release is v3.3
