IWR6843AOPEVM: AOP chip general release / availability of design files or footprint

Hi,

I was wondering when and if it's planned on selling the AOP mmWave radar chip by itself? And similarly, whether a footprint or design file will be available for easily incorporating it into a custom design (the previous EVMs had Altium files available for download, which was very useful for making custom boards).

Hi,

As you are aware the current EVM is for evaluation only and the IC is not available. We are working on a revision of the EVM/IC, a more robust release with the design files, footprints, IC etc. included. At this time it is slated for release sometimes next year.

Unfortunately this is all the information I can provide publicly at the moment.
