IWR6843: The 57GHz ~ 64GHz EIRP Over FCC SPEC CFR §15.255.

Part Number: IWR6843

Hi,

According to FCC regulation rule, "47 CFR §15.255", it says:

======================================================================================================

(3) For fixed field disturbance sensors other than those operating under the provisions of paragraph (c)(2) of this section, and short-range devices for interactive motion sensing, the peak transmitter conducted output power shall not exceed ?10 dBm and the peak EIRP level shall not exceed 10 dBm.

From link: www.ecfr.gov/.../text-idx
======================================================================================================

Since SPEC limits the EIRP to 10dBm only, if the IWR6843 transmits 3 TX simultaneously with each 10dBm, then its EIRP will be (10dBm + 4.7dB for 3 TX + 9dBi for antenna gain == 23.7 dBm), which over the SPEC.

Is this correct?

Then how could I reach the maximum performance for TX power?
