Customer would like to know what is the relative distance between the transmit antenna TXS and the receive antenna RX on the TIDEP-01012 cascaded RF board?

Hi Cesar,

Thanks for your answer. There is no distance between the transmitting antenna and the receiving antenna in Figure 6. (only lateral distance, no longitudinal distance)

This distance is about 4.9-5cm.

You can compute the distance on the layout files provided on the EVM page

Hi Annie,

The MMWCAS-RF-EVM user guide and layout files should be referenced for those kinds of questions. All of that is available on the MMWCAS-RF-EVM tools page: https://www.ti.com/tool/MMWCAS-RF-EVM

The user guide (https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru553/swru553.pdf), page 25, Figure 16 describes the TX to RX array horizontal and vertical offset from each other. You can reference the layout files (https://www.ti.com/lit/zip/tidrzz6 ) for any specific dimension you want. I called out the distance from the top of the RX array element to the bottom of the TX array element as dimension B1 = 2928.84 mils (74.392 mm).
