Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVEICBOOST, , CCSTUDIO
We have set up the IWR6843ISK and MMWAVEICBOOST boards as described in the mmWave radar sensor reference guide. The image below displays our current setup, the white cable is our USB connection to the computer and the black cable connects to our 5V power supply.
When connecting the boards to our computer via USB cable, it is detected under "Other Devices" (shown below). The computer is running on Windows 7; we have attempted to add COM ports through the device manager, but it appears we don't have the information necessary to do this.
We have also tried using a laptop running Windows 10 to see if the COM ports are detected, but we run into the same issue.
After referencing a post with a similar problem (https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/731538?IWR1443BOOST-no-texas-instrument-usb-port-detectede checked that we are using the current version of Code Composer Studio (v 9.2.0) and the mmWave SDK (v 3.3.0.3). We have also downloaded the version of CCS used in the reference guide, CCS v 8.1.0, but have not been able to resolve this issue.
