We have set up the IWR6843ISK and MMWAVEICBOOST as described in the mmWave radar sensor reference guide. The image below displays our setup, the white cable is our USB connection to the computer and the black cable connects to the 5-V power supply. When the device is connected to our computer, it is displayed under “Other Devices” rather than “Ports”. We are running Windows 7 and have attempted to download COM ports through the device manager, but it appears we do not have the information required to do this. We have also connected to the device to a laptop running Windows 10, but the same issue persists. After reviewing a similar problem(e2e.ti.com/.../731538, we checked that we were using up to date software. We are using the current version of Code Composer Studio (v 9.2.0) and the mmWave SDK (v 3.3.0.3). We have also downloaded the version of CCS used in the reference guide, CCS v 8.1.0, but still have the same issue.
