Hello team,

Recently I have tested the HDC2080EVM, using the GUI. However, after a couple of tests, I have found out that the sensor humidity range is between 0% and around 80%. Once the humidity is above 80% the sensor measured values drop to 0 and once the humidity is a flat 0 the measured values start to increase. Is that a common problem, or something might be wrong with the sensor.

The first graph shows the problem with % above 80 and flat 0. The second is operating between 80% and 20%, with a good follow, but offset.

i have not seen this - is it repeatable? right @ 80%RH every time? If so, then I think something is damaged inside the sensor on the EVM.

Hi Josh,

So basically, it happens every time the RH% goes above 80%, during all tests. And about the offset, might it be related to this issue or maybe it is different problem?
