IWR1443: No configuration commands in the console window of mmWave Demo Visualizer

Hey,

I have just started to use the IWR1443BOOST. I am encountering a few issues while running the demo in the SDK(version 1.2).

After doing all in the user-guider and press "Send Config to Device" . There only show two column of words: Exception main.c, line 1895

No other configuration commands in the console window are shown in mmWave Demo Visualizer.

What could be the mistake in the procedure that I am following?

Hi HuangRongjie,

mmWave-SDK 1.2 is intended for ES2.0 silicon, you'll wan to use mmWave-SDK 2.1 for ES3.0 silicon. Do you know what ES version you have?

Hi Akash,

I have the ES2.0 silicon.

And I have done these as follows:

After flashing, power up the EVM in functional mode (i.e jumper connected on SOP0, SOP2 jumper removed).
Connect the mmWave Demo Visualizer with the correct COM ports selected under Options->Serial Port.
Select the correct device and SDK version in the mmWaveDemo Visulizer Configure tab.
Make sure that you see "Hardware Connected, Waiting for Data" in the visualizer status bar.
Press the NRST switch (SW2) on the EVM. You should see the mmWave SDK Demo prompt on the visualizer console. If you don't see the prompt, check if the NERR_OUT LED is lit up.

I flashed <xwr14xx_mmw_demo_mss.bin> on to my device.

Hi HuangRongjie,

But you said your device is ES2.0, so you'll need to flash the radarss binary as well, have you done this?
