IWR1642: How to " get the shape " by IWR1642? or IWR6843?

Hi Sir,

One of my customer used High-resolution depth camera to get the shape from many different objects.
(He used this technology to know the dimension of an unknown object, Ex. mug, ball...)

He wants to have mmWave to get the shape from the unknown object, and the idea is :
After getting the signal received by Rx, he want to show the " shape " by Point Cloud.

As my experience, the signal we got from mmWave is not too much, and I think it's hard to have the output as this:

but I want to double confirm this with you.


If mmWave does have the ability to get the shape as above, would you please give me a hint how to process this?
