Can you let me know what is the maximum number of AWR1243 devices that can be cascaded?

Also can you comment on what the reason is for the limitation?

Can you also let me know what the maximum number of cascaded devices is that you have tested in your labs?

Hello Jonathan,

There is no theoretical limit to the number of devices that can be cascaded. You just need to make sure the FM_CW_SYNC_IN amplitudes for all the devices are ~0dBm power level.

In our labs we have tested only upto 4 chip cascading.

Hello Jonathan,

You also need to make sure the DIG SYNCIN and 40Mhz clock signals are appropriately buffered to each of the devices.
