I  want to make Radar using IWR6843. It should detects obstacle in its range and also calculate the distance from the object. Can it be done?

Also is this a pulse radar and what is the max-distance this radar can measure? If this radar is not good for this project, what radar do you suggest?

    Hi Nasir,

    IWR6843 is going to be a great fit for your application, I would recommend ordering an IWR6843ISK and MMWAVEICBOOST in order to begin evaluation.

    This is not pulse radar, but rather Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave Radar. You can read more about the technology here.
