AWR1843BOOST: Difficulties in detecting the object

Hello TI,

Currently, I am working with AWR1843BOOST EVM and I am completely new to this topic. Regarding the project, We are working on robotic arm and needs to detect the movement of the arm using AWR1843boost EVM board. We are trying to detect the object but could not get the desired result?

The "automated parking" example is flashed into the EVM board using uniflash and trying to see the objects, but we have zero success. Maybe could you please let us know, what are the inital steps need to done and how the recognise the objects in the parkassist GUI? Becasue I see a lot of points on the GUI and unable to understand the plot.

Hi,

Maybe try a different demo for a start. Using the Out of the box demo and fine tuning the parameters using the visualizer can you please confirm you can sense the movement of the robotic arm.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I tried the obstacle detection example from the automative tool box_2_5_0(odsdemo_16xx). Now I can detect the objects and its movements, but as far as I understand it can only differentiate and detects the objects which are saperated by some distance or some angular distance.

In my case I have a ROBOTIC ARM with 3 motors, which can move in X, Y and Z directions. I would like to differentiate the motor movements in every direction and know the motor positions during the movements.

Is it really possible to detect each motor movement and position individually?
