Hi,when i use DCA1000 and mmwave studio to capture raw data, there is something wrong. It displays No.of Devices Detected to 0 after several refreshes.I have tried a lower version of mmwave studio,it didn't work too.May i know how to solve this problem?(I have connected AWR1642BOOST to DCA1000)
Please make sure that you are using an ES 2.0 AWR1642 device. You can look at the device markings on the package and compare it with section 9.1 "Device Nomenclature" of the datasheet found here: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/awr1642.pdf
Make sure that you are using mmWave Studio version 2.1, the latest version available.
Please refer to the DCA1000 Quick Start Guide for instructions on how to correctly connect your DCA1000EVM to your PC found here: http://www.ti.com/lit/ml/spruik7/spruik7.pdf

Hi Kyle,
I have checked the version of EVM(ES2.0)and mmwave studio(2.1),but the device still can not be detected. What can I do next?Thank you.

XU,
You need to make sure that all six COM ports appear in the Windows Device Manager before proceeding.
Two of the COM ports are the XDS110 emulators for the AWR1642. The other four COM ports are for the DCA1000EVM.
Make sure all these ports are accounted for before continuing any further.

Kyle
XU,
Please follow this training video for a step by step procedure on how to complete data captures using the DCA1000EVM.
https://training.ti.com/dca1000-training-video
You will need to update the FTDI driver for COM7. Instructions on how to do this are included in the DCA1000EVM User Guide.
