My FDC1004EVM will not connect to the GUI on my Win7 laptop. It appears as a COM port labeled EVM when it is plugged in but the GUI will not connect.
With the same software and hardware, everything works OK on my Win10 desktop.
How can I get the Win7 machine and GUI to connect to the FDC1004EVM. I have tried running as Administrator and turning off the Avast antivirus shields. Neither of these things worked.
