Hi,

I'm using IWR1443 and from the mmWave demo Visualizer i found the values for the chirp slope and for the sampling frequency and i also found the parameters that affect them.

Unfortunately i didn't found the value for NFFT so my question is where can i found this value or what value has? Is it a constant or change by some parameters?

Hi,

The range FFT is determined by numAdcSamples configured in profileCfg. The range FFT size will be the closest power 2 number that is not smaller than numAdcSamples.

The Doppler FFT is determined by the number of loops in frameCfg. The Doppler FFT size will be the closest power 2 number that is not smaller than number of loops.

So if the number in the profileCfg is 1000 i have to use 1024 in the law that relate the range and the range index,is it right?

Or i have to use the power of 2,like10?

If your number of ADC sample per chirp is 1000, then the range FFT size will be derived as 1024 and used in the system.
