Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642BOOST-ODS
Dear Texas Instruments technical team
I have a setup with the AWR1642Boost-ODS + DCA1000EVM boards. I'm interested in ideally getting the LVDS data directly from the Samtec Connector to pass this toward an external FPGA for further processing over the ADC Data without the need of dealing with the Ethernet interface.
Is there any possibility I could use my setup to direct the LVDS data to any GPIO port of either the AWR1642Boost-ODS or the DCA1000EVM to extract this information?
Would it be as simple as disconnecting the DCA1000EVM to try to extract the LVDS lines from the Samtec connector? I am afraid that the DCA1000EVM is playing an active role in this communication, which would lead to nothing being captured on the LVDS lines.
Alternatively, Could you please give me any suggestion to interact with the Samtec Connector pins to extract the LVDS data without the DCA1000EVM? Do you have any documentation about the controller needed to interact with this Samtec interface?
Thank you very much for your time and help.
