IWR1642BOOST: Accuracy and SNR

Part Number: IWR1642BOOST

Hi,

In page 21 of High Accuracy Range Measurement – 16xx user guide, Processing gain is calculated as (10log10(512*10)) ~ 37 dB. I think process gain is FFT gain. FFT gain is given by 10log10(M/2) dB, where M is size of FFT.

1) I want to know what (512*10) represents in (10log10(512*10)). I think it is (FFT size * number of loops). If correct then this does not match with 10log10(M/2).

2) In table showing Target Accuracy and Required Detection SNR relation, what does Required Detection SNR represents. What parameters (ADC SNR, FFT gain, phase noise etc) are included in SNR.

Thanks,

Akshay
