I am curious if there is documentation on how to properly separate the mission and breakaway board? Which tools should be used?

We don't have any documentation on this, you will need to break it apart as you see fit.

I am curious if any community members have successfully separated the two boards. We made an attempt using a saw, which short-circuited the connectors and broke the board. The next attempt will be to pre-cut the PCB with a knife and then snap them apart - but it's expensive for us to proceed by trial and error.

I think a generic PCB cutter should work. Please let me know if you find any other suitable tool.
