DCA1000EVM: Timeout Error! System disconnected

Hi

After pressing trigger button in radar studio 2.1.0.0, packet are received on Ethernet network card From DCA1000EVM but not form the .bin data file,

instead I am getting "Timeout Error! System disconnected "

    You should try running the Capture Demo Lua Script that is included in the mmWave Studio v2.1 installation. The instructions for running this script are found in the DCA1000 Quick Start Guide.

    The script is located here: C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_00_00\mmWaveStudio\Scripts

    Use the "DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua" file.

    It looks like you have the test source enabled. You should try to run this script with the test source disabled.

  • Test source was not enabled

    As I started this thread, manual mode does not work as well, I did to enabled test source manually. This is something specific for radar studio 2.1.0.0 DCA1000EVM support, script and manual mode works in previous version with same setup.

    Just before the Frame start API can you add a delay   of 2 sec  using RSTD.Sleep(2000)?

    This should added after the   ar1.CaptureCardConfig_StartRecord("C:\\ti\\mmwave_studio_02_01_00_00\\mmWaveStudio\\Scripts\\..\\PostProc\\adc_data.bin", 1) command.

  • Adding two seconds  did not work, I have added the two logs:  (1) 2.1.0.0 log with added two second delay, and working (2) 2.0.0.2 log, no changes in hardware, just two version of radar studio

  • Nir,

    It does not appear that you added the two second delay to your script. I do not see the RTSD.Sleep(2000) command in your previous post.

    Please make the change that Vivek has suggested.

    Also, if you are going to upload log files, please upload them as text file attachments. It is very difficult to follow the thread if I have to keep scrolling through code on the forum.
