Hello,
We would like to use beam steering function in IWR6843 and IWR1843. Is there any documentation or example how to do it?
In case of IWR1843, is it also possible to steer a beam in elevation (or azimuth and elevation at the same time) using all three antennas?
Meanwhile we are checking the below topics:

Thank you.
Hi Bart,
The concepts of beam-steering is explained in the app note mentioned in the following post:
https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/p/835539/3090138#3090138
We don't have a beam-steering example for IWR1843/IWR6843 at this time. Please allow me a couple of days to get back to you on the question related to beam-forming with 3TX.
Regards
-Nitin
Hi Bart,
IWR6843ES2.0 supports simultaneous transmission with 3TX but only with only with 1-V LDO bypass and PA LDO disable mode. In this mode, the 1-V supply needs to be fed on the VOUT PA pin. Please check the table note in section 2.3.1 of the following Migration Guide

Thanks

Thanks Nitin,
that sounds great. So I guess, the table 3.1 in the datasheet will be updated to reflect this (currently only IWR1843 is marked to have support for 3Tx simultaneous operation)?
