PGA300: Display error about GUI setting value

Hello

 

In March, I wrote temperature compensation data to our product including PGA300 by USB2ANY and GUI. However I confirmed its setting to change burnout value in September, this value was changed as follows.

              Normal pressure upper value:3.5V → 5.23V

              Clamp value upper:3.5V → 5.23V

 While our product’s output burnout value was 3.5V this value was installed in March. Because of this phenomenon, I can’t change proper burnout value to our product, Please tell me this causes and measures.

    Can you please clarify what you mean by the burnout value? 

    My current understanding is that you programmed the EEPROM values (shown in our original post) in March, but now in November the values have changed. Additionally now you are unable to write new values to the EEPROM. Is that correct?

    Have any other EEPROM registers changed in this time? Do you have a CRC error when you run the device?

     →The display value of GUI is changed. However, PGA300 is moving when I set its value in March.

     

    Additionally now you are unable to write new values to the EEPROM. Is that correct?

     →I’m able to write new values to the EEPROM. However, their voltages are difference between the written value by using GUI and the output value by PGA 300. It means setting value and output value aren’t same. For instance, if I set “Normal pressure upper value” 3.5V with GUI, PGA300 burnout operation is 2V.

     

    Have any other EEPROM registers changed in this time?

     →No. “Normal pressure upper value” and “Clamp value” are changed in the state of EEPROM READ in GUI.

     

    Do you have a CRC error when you run the device?

     →No.

    Hello,

    The burnout value means clamping value. When input value is over the limiting value (= Normal Pressure upper/lower value) that user set,

    then the output value becomes clamping upper/lower value (= burnout value).

    Hello,

    Is the changed value consistent when you set different clamping and normal operation values? Does the actual voltage being output by the PGA300 stay at the same value regardless of where the clamping value is set? Or does the actual output value change whenever you set a different clamping value? Is the relationship between the actual measured output voltage and the EEPROM clamping voltage consistent like an offset or a gain error?
