Hi,

I've tried to follow the instructions in this post to run the people counting labs on an IWR6843AOPEVM

I've successfully flashhed the precompiled firmware \mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_1_0\labs\people_counting\68xx_overhead_people_counting\Pre-compiled Binary\AoP\aop_pplcount_lab_68xx.bin

I am not able to communicate to IWR6843AOPEVM with the GUI (Communication timeout)

There are restrictions to use the GUI with IWR6843AOPEVM?

Hi Stefano,

The AOP EVM needs a different set of drivers to connect to the PC with its com ports. Do you see the device in device manager? If using a terminal utility like tera term, do you see any CLI output from the UART Com Port when baud rate is 115200?

Hello,

the communication with AOP EVM works fine (both on driver and data output), no issues with other examples than people counter.

The problem is when I am trying to use the over the head people counter example with the IWR6843AOP, no data from the EVM board

There is any solutions for the overhead people counting with the IWR6843AOP?

Hi Stefano,

Can you run the device in debug mode and report the error you get on the console?

You will need a ICBOOST to run in debug mode.
