IWR6843: mmWave studio 2.1 - visualising data

Hi,

I have installed mmWave studio 2.1. I have made some capture and now want to visualize.

When I use the DISPLAY(5) button on the ConStream tab, I can load the postprocessing view. Then I try to load the .log file for the chirp meta-data and I get the message below .. there were no instructions about installing the Labview runtime engine - what version do I precisely need and where is this need documented ? When I hit the YES in below - nothing happens.

Hi,

I tried on my side, and it does not have any response when I try to load the .log file.

Can you try to load the .bin data instead? I can see the ADC samples.

Hi Zigang,

How do you tell the visualiser what the chirp data and organisation of the bin file is without loading the log ?

If i try to load bin directly it comes with below -

Hi,

It is quite hard to use this continuous mode capture. If you get the binary data saved, you can try to process yourself.

At the same time, I will try to contact the designer to see what is expected.

HI,

Continuous wave capture mode not fully functional is a known issue with the current radar studio. The design team is still working on it.
