Per the measurement sequence, after the start new measurement bit START_MEAS has been set in the CONFIG1 register, the TDC7200

generates a trigger signal on the TRIGG pin, . Immediately after sending the trigger, the TDC7200 enables the START pin and waits to receive the START pulse edge. . After receiving a START, the TDC resets the TRIGG pin

My question is: if no START signal arrive, the TRIGG pin will remain high all the time before interrupt occurs?

Hello Zhang,

There isn't any timeout details on the TRIGG pin. In an application its expected that the once its enabled the device is ready to receive the signal.
