I had a query about Spectral response of OPT101 this time. If you observe the Spectral response of OPT101 is varying with wavelength.
We have set up an experiment as shown in the attached image below. We are considering two different LEDs, one operating at 900 nm and another at 1000 nm. If you observe the spectral response, at 900 nm, the efficiency of OPT101 is about 95%, while at 1000 nm, the efficiency is about 50%. Now, we are operating the OPT101 is the same condition and get about 1[V] for 900 nm LED and about 0.5[V] for 1000 nm LED.
Now, as the efficiency of both the wavelengths are different, and as we are comparing the voltages of both this response to get the sample properties, should we multiply the efficiency factor (i.e. 95/50 = 1.9) to 0.5[V] to get the correct output voltage for 1000nm?
