CCS/AWR1443BOOST: Question about vital signs for main_readGUISavedBinary.m file

Hi,

I have an issue when I try to change the range of configuration file. The original range is from 0.3 to 1.0. After I changing it, there is an error when I try to read bin file. It looks like the length of dataBin is not multiply of TOTAL_PAYLOAD_SIZE_BYTES anymore. Could you please help me?

Hi,

Did you capture new data with 1.0 range from the application (over UART)?

Check if NUM_SAMPLES_EVM and numChirpFile is an integer value.

I changed range to 0.3 to 1.5. numChirpFile is no longer integer. That's the problem I have. I don't know why it happen.

Hi,

Changing range 0.3 to 1.5 may change the UART data packet size. Because of which calculate_Payloadsize might be returning different value than expect to matlab script.

Please check this point and do the step into the function in matlab script to find out the cause of it. And in the application (main.c > VitalSignsDemo_transmitProcessedOutput) as well you need to check about the data content with this config change.

Hi,

I think I used wrong GUI for collecting data. So the UART data format is different from the reading file.
