CAPTIVATE-FR2633: Measuring capacitance using Captivate-FR2633 and labview

I want to measure the capacitance of a capacitive sensor using the Captivate-FR2633 and by connecting it to the Labview. Would you please let me know if it is possible to connect a customized sensor to the board and send commands to the chip through Labview? Please let me know if there is any documentation on this.

Hello Ali,

We dont have any out of box software for the CapTIvate-FR2633 board to talk to Labview directly.

You can either use our GUI to show the real time measurement data: http://www.ti.com/tool/MSPCAPTDSNCTR

Or transmit the measurement data to PC through USB and to Labview.

Many thanks for your reply. Could you suggest any document or example on how to use the data from USB in Labview? I wonder if the GUI provide absolute measurements of the capacitance? Could you please let me know where in the GUI and how?

I don't think we have document talk specifically on the USB in Labview and you can should be able to find more information from the Labview support forum.
