Hello Team,
The OPT3101 datasheet specifies 16-bit distance output at 15-m. Our understanding was that we would get ~1/4mm resolution (15000mm/2^16), but using the recommended evaluation kit software we are only able to get millimeter resolution. Is there a way to correct this in software, or did we misinterpret the datasheet?
Also my customer is seeing a lot of jitter on these measurements (+/- several mm). Is there anything we could try to remedy this? They have tried a handful of different reflective targets, but that didn’t seem to help.
