Dear everyone,
I am trying to use the TIDEP-01012 in the MIMO-SAR mode. When testing it I only receive values up to 15 metres which is 10x less then specified. Therefore, I would like to modify the Cascade_Configuration_MIMO.lua file (line 60 to 88). There are plenty of parameters, but I could not find a document describing/summarizing the values suitable. E.g.
adc_samples = 256 ---> on MMWave Studio Cascade User Guide, p43 is written that currently limited to 512 in complex and 1024 in real mode. I assume for FMCW I would need 512?
sample_freq = 8'000 ksps ---> is that the maximum value or is it 37'500 ksps as described in Programming Chirp Parameters in TI Radar Devices (p3)
rx_gain = 48 ---> what is the maximum gain?
What is the meaning of complex 1x sampling mode and complex 2x sampling mode? It somehow defines the IF_max which is related to the maximum range of the radar.
Also for all the other values: are there recommended values or descriptions available? How did other user configure it?
Thank you very much and merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Andreas
