PGA411Q1EVM: PGA411Q1EVM

Part Number: PGA411Q1EVM

I have read the ic data sheet and EVM guides. I will have an EVM to use in January. I need the ic to be standalone resolver to XYZ encoder and UVW motor commutation output. When register changes are have been made in the EVM GUI and written to memory are they retained after power off or is this where the Device Unlock function is applicable ? If so when will Devie Unlock EVM GUI be released ? Is there an example of the NPLE setting and UVW or U1V1W1 setting ? Regards, Tim
  • Hi,

The register changes that were made will be lost after power-up if EEPROM program step is not performed. This can be done with the GUI itself

The General tab under the Device settings has EEPROM control section. After making the required register changes, Click on unlock EEPROM, calculate EEPROM and Program EEPROM to burn the EEPROM. The device retains the register settings after power cycle.

    Regards
