AWR1642: Want to use for the ISAR imaging

I want to purchase an AWR1643, or AWR 18xx or 12XX, or the imaging radar from the TI, can anyone suggest me that which one is better suitable for the imaging for the short rand and mid-range, and what are the other board and design kit required to purchase. I want to get RAW ADC data so that I can do the further processing for the ISAR imaging.

If any other solution is possible, then please suggest.

Hi Neeraj,

For short/mid range you can opt for AWR1843 device. You need to get DCA1000EVM board to capture the raw ADC from device to PC.

Thanks for your response.

I want to generate the ISAR image from the collected ADC raw data. So please suggest me to get the raw data from the sensor and generate ISAR image we required AWR 1843+ DCA1000EVM only or need some additional board or device or board.

Please, can you suggest some distributor or process so I can get this as early as possible in India?

Hello Neeraj,

The raw ADC data from the 4 receiver channels can be collected using DCA1000 interface to AWR1243BOOST EVM.

To derive an ISAR image out of the raw data you will have to process the data. You would be able to find literature online regarding the ISAR processing and usage.
