HDC2021: When will we have EVMs for this part? And why is the HDC2080 EVM recommended to evaluate the 2021?

Happy New Year's! Quick question.

When (if) will we have EVMs available for the HDC2021? Also, why is it that currently the HDC2080 evm is recommended to evaluate the 2021?

    Dear Lauren - 

    The HDC202x devices are digitally same as HDC20x0 devices and the HDC2080 and HDC2021 are both top open cavity devices and the physical differences between them basically come down to the removable tape cover. Therefore, the HDC2080 EVM was decided to be the EVM for the HDC2021 and there will not be a dedicated HDC2021 EVM. Samples of the ICs are available for development/evaluation of the tape cover purposes.
