Netanel,
Can you please try the latest GUI at https://dev.ti.com/gallery/info/THSApps/TMP468EVM_GUI
Thanks,
Hi Netanel,
Please check that the ADD pin is still set up GND. This error message usually occurs when the device is on the wrong I2C address.
Thanks,
Hi Netanel,
Can you also send me a oscilloscope waveform of the the I2C transaction when you try to connect to the EVM to the GUI?
Thanks,
hi thanks, we bought another board.
i have another question,
we tru to TD in device, but we were unable to calibrate the temperature according to an external sensor we use.
When we read from External sensor = 50c on TD(TMP468EVM) we read 55c , its ok for us
but when we read onExternal sensor = - 50c on TD(TMP468EVM) we read -10c
How do we do linearity?
Need to use N-FACTOR?
How is it used?
Hi Netanel,
Are you using the transistor that comes on the EVM? What is your n-factor setting? Also, what are you using as the reference temperature?
Thanks,
yes transistor, n-factor setting - default,
our reference - on our device we put block of copper inside has a PT100 sensor.
for noise reduction we put 1nf capacitor between + & gnd, and another 1nf capacitor between -&gnd, maybe that's make up a problem?
Hi Netanel,
Please remove the capacitors and see if that fixes the issue. The EVM already has a filtering capacitor and too much capacitance can cause temperature error.
Thanks,
Netanel,
If you are not able to reduce the noise or remove the capacitors, you can try to calibrate the temperature readings. Please see the Remote Temperature Sensor Calibration Tool. Using the tool, you can record the expected temperature and device temperature reading and it will give you n-factor and offset setting to help calibrate out the errors in the system.
Thanks,
