Hi, I'm starting to develop an 3D imaging system based on mmwave technology for my PhD project.
After some research, I found one possible solution from Vayyar called Walabot-60Ghz (it's 40TX, 40RX) that costs a huge amount of $2.500,00!
To base my board on AWR1243P, I would cascade about 14 chips and get a better theoretical resolution by using 40TX and 56RX antennas.
What I want is to get a high resolution point cloud data from the cascade system (by using some DSP or Hybrid FPGA).
Probably I can use some technique to reduce the number of tx against rx number to target an array combination of 30tx 40rx.
I want to check the design constrains (hardware and software) before start.
Thanks!
