DCA1000EVM : How can i use it ?

Part Number: DCA1000EVM

Hello ! I am a beginner. I want to ask a question about raw data!

1. What is the general reason for purchasing DCA1000 device to capture and extract raw data? How can we benefit from this raw data and what are the benefits? (We have xWR 16xx, 18xx, 68xx)

2. If there is a gain, how can I decrypt or understand the raw data expressed in hexadecimal extracted in the adc_data.bin file? What do the hexadecimal numbers mean? (I read mmwave_studio_user_guide.pdf but it's hard to understand.)
I hope you give me more easy and clear answers and guidelines.

3. Finally, if I analyze raw data and post-process it, can I get the ball break value, the monitorable value of mmwave studio?

Sorry for the many questions and the basics.

DCA1000EVM is used to capture the raw ADC data from mmwave sensor to a PC over ethernet. Raw ADC data will you more flexibility to do your own signal processing and analysis. Using this board ADC data can be stored during the field trial for later processing.

At the receiver end of the device, post mixing with Tx signal we get IF signal which is digitized and stored to ADC data. This ADC data contains all the details of the scene which can be decoded by signal processing (FFT).
