CCS/AWR1642: How to calculate or know the memory utilization by the application code on the hardware

Is there a way of knowing the memory utilized by the dss/mss firmware (code memory) on the AWR1642.

1) I am interested to know whether CCS 7.4 has any features to display that either through the map file or some other way.

2) How much code memory (and also if possible data memory) will be left (for user application development) after flashing the SRR demo code on to the hardware.

Hi,

Please build the CCS projects as described in the documentation.

In the Debug folder, a .map file will be generate for mss and another for dss.

The map file will show the unused memory.

For the SRR demo, most of the memory available is on the MSS side.

On the DSS side, the code is quite optimized and there is probably not much memory left
