BOOST-TUSS4470: EVM does not work properly

Part Number: BOOST-TUSS4470

Hello expert,

I ordered TUSS4770 and started to set up the board for the customer meeting.

However, the EVM looks like doesn't work properly...

VDRV is always "0" and there are no images showing up to the measurements & diagnostics.

Could you give me the advice to use the EVM properly?

Thank you,

Kazuki Kitajima

  • Kitajima-san,

VDRV always initiates in the Hi-Z state when the device powers up, which is why the VDRV Ready Fault bit is "0" when you first start the GUI. You need to set the VDRV_HI_Z bit field to "Not Hi-Z" to clear the fault bit to "1".

To plot results on the Measurements and Diagnostics plot, check the "UMR" checkbox in the Tabulated Results tab, and either check the "GUI Threshold Enable" checkbox in the run options, or set bit field ECHO_INT_CMP_EN to "Enabled". One of these thresholds must be defined in order for the Tabulated Results and Meas/Diag plots to show data.
