TMP112-Q1: Need TMP112AQDRLRQ1 FMEDA date for ISO26262 certification

Part Number: TMP112-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM50-Q1, LMT87-Q1

Hi

We need TMP112AQDRLRQ1 FMEDA  date for ISO26262 certification, can you provide ?

  • Hi PYTsai,

I will have to check with my team when i return to the office on Monday (US Central Time-zone), but i believe there is a formal process for requesting FMEDA information since it requires an NDA.

Can you confirm that you need just the date of the FMEDA? I'd like to be sure in case we can share just that information with fewer restrictions. Either way I will follow-up with you tomorrow on the status of this.

    Best Regards,
    Brandon Fisher

  • Hi PYTsai,

    Thank you for your patience.

After checking with my team, an FMEDA is not available for the TMP112-Q1, and is not likely to be available in the foreseeable future. We don't typically produce this level of functional safety related documentation for temperature sensors.

In the near future, our temperature sensors with functional-safety related documentation available will be listed here under sensors: http://www.ti.com/technologies/functional-safety/overview.html

We do have FIT and FMD documents available for the LMT87-Q1 and the LM50-Q1 that we can share if those sensors are acceptable. Please let me know if there's any interest in these devices.

    Best Regards,
    Brandon Fisher
